The Way...

How beautiful this is...

We shall not cease from exploration

And the end of all our exploring

Will be to arrive where we started

And know the place for the first time.

A woman

A woman's only human
You should understand.
She's not just a plaything,
She's flesh and blood
Just like her man.

More lullabies

Today I made a sweetest discovery - the CD compilation "Les plus belles berceuses du monde". This is an enchanting selection of loving lullaby tunes from Mali to Japan, bringing to your home a vivid image of a mother by the cradle in Rwanda, Congo, Senegal, Guadaloupe, Brasil, Korea, Cambodia and Japan and featuring different African languages as well as Chinese, Korean, Portuguese, Hebreu, Russian, Polish.
Beautiful work of Didier Jeunesse and a powerful reminder how universal an experience motherhood is.

The case of Clint Eastwood

I am once again shattered and moved beyond words. Just like its predecessors 'Million dollar baby', 'Changelling', 'Gran Torino' and 'Invictus', Clint Eastood's latest film 'Hereafter' is a complete and utter knock-out. It will break your heart into pieces and then will masterfully make you crave to heal and expand it. That's what it did to mine. That's what I suspect it will do to many others.

Somewhere

I love the way Sofia Coppola is telling the story in her latest film "Somewhere" - telling, suggesting, analyzing, insinuating or dissecting nothing but simply observing the story unfolding and her characters flowing through it. I truly enjoyed watching it with the same non-detached attitude.
It is a powerful stuff, not necessarily pleasant to watch, yet like most worthy things it would grab you only after you have left the salon and its effect wouldn't wear off for quite some time.
This film is as good as a meditation.
